Air-Cooled Chiller vs Water-Cooled Chiller
While a water-cooled chiller needs a cooling tower, which feeds water to the chiller to absorb any unwanted heat before expelling it through the tower process, an air-cooled chiller employs fans to reject heat from the outdoors. Compressor, evaporator, and condenser are all included in an air-cooled chiller as it leaves the manufacturer, with the option of chilled water pumps also being included.
